B1 Tropic responses

A tropism is where a living organism grows or moves towards a stimulus.

It usually happens in plants but can also happen in animals.

In plants the stimuli could be light or gravity.

Roots respond to gravity by growing downwards.

Leaves and the stem respond to light by growing towards it.

Easy and obvious eh?!
